Aastrika Midwifery Centre provides preconception counselling for families planning a pregnancy, as well as family planning and contraception counselling for families or individuals preventing a pregnancy. Our empathetic doctors provide ample discussion time to provide relevant information, understand the couple’s health history, and answer all questions, so that the couple is reassured and confident.
Preventative Well Woman Care
Preventative Well Woman Care
We provide a range of well woman care, that is, preventative health services, from menarche to menopause. Our obstetricians and gynaecologists conduct routine health check ups, including pap smears and other tests. We also provide information on women’s health issues, such as menstruation, menarche, safe sex, age-specific recommended vaccines and tests, and menopause.

Our team is experienced at addressing a range of gynaecologic conditions, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), pre menstruation syndrome (PMS), endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, ovarian cysts, perimenopausal problems, and other conditions. Our doctors spend time explaining the condition, answering all questions, explaining the results of diagnostic tests, and ensuring the woman is confident of the treatment path.
